ICJE is expanding the services it provides to law enforcement agencies with the addition of grant writing and grant writing proficiency training. Federal funds allow local police agencies to develop and evaluate programs, buy equipment and hire personnel. These programs are available to both large and small departments and cover a wide variety of benefits to law enforcement agencies.

Many agencies do not take advantage of federal funding opportunities because they lack in-house expertise in researching and writing grants and developing grant budgets. To meet this challenge, the ICJE Board of Directors has authorized the expansion of our services to include research into grant availability, training for grant writing and assistance in the application process. ICJE has experienced grant writers who are available to write grant applications for both federal and state grants.
