Supervisory Communication and Motivation
Participants wishing to pay by Credit Card or PayPal may do so at the registration site below:
|
Some of the most important and most difficult tasks for law enforcement supervisors to successfully maneuver include the constant interaction with administrators, peers, lower ranking officers, communications personnel, administrative personnel, court personnel, media, law abiding citizens, and criminals.
Law enforcement supervisors must develop the skills necessary to communicate clearly and successfully with numerous individuals; each with a different personality, background, level of understanding, and language barriers. When dealing with lower ranking officers, it is not only imperative that clear and complete communications take place, but the supervisor must also serve as a mentor to motivate for excellence in a profession filled with discouraging situations, stressful and emotional events, that require split-second decision making.
This course will present the concepts and scientific principles related to communication and motivation on a supervisory level. Each participant will bring their personal experience to the table in discussion on topics related to communicating with different individuals and motivating law enforcement officers who fall into numerous generations and cultural backgrounds.
Six hours of training will be filled with information, discussion, practical exercises, and examples of actual situations in which law enforcement supervisors will deal with in their careers. This course is valuable for veteran and new supervisors, as well as officers who plan to seek promotion into supervisory positions.

Identity Theft and White Collar Crime
Participants wishing to pay by Credit Card or PayPal may do so at the registration site below:
|
This White Collar Crime course covers all of the usual methods of taking and assuming a person's identity, the laws involved, preventive measures and the investigative steps to identify and apprehend those who participate in these crimes.
Because this one of the more rapidly growing crime areas, DAs often are not experienced in prosecuting these cases, so all departments should have a working knowledge of the crimes, the criminals involved and the investigation of these schemes.
As criminals become more sophisticated, those officers who are or will be assigned to these investigations must constantly upgrade their skills. From simple check cases to identity theft, the schemes are becoming more complex with each new change in technology.
This course also includes a basic overview of the typical white collar crime schemes investigators currently face and the steps necessary to solve these crimes.
All officers who are currently involved in the investigation of white collar crime or who intend to do so in the future should attend this course
